Do You Look Great With Grey Hair?

Sometimes, aging is not bad.  As we get older, our hair may get gray because we start losing pigment, making the hair colorless.  This doesn’t mean our hair will fall, as you may have seen, there are some elder people with gray hair that never become bald.  The age that we start showing grey hair depend on each person, it appears mostly when we are old but there are many exceptions – take George Clooney for example.

And since I mentioned Mr. Clooney, you may have noticed that he is one of the top players in Hollywood. He looks great with grey hair, and never had to put tint on it once.  So ask yourself:  are you getting ashamed for something that can make you look more interesting?

Most women love grey hair on an according face.  They have the perception that you are more interesting, mature and even sexy.  The experienced type you know?  But the trick to having grey hair is having it well groomed.  Messy grey hair may make you look like Doc from Back to the Future, so stick to the rules of a good hair care routine and well… just give your grey hair a shot.  You’ll never know how well it looks on you until you try.

How Much is Too Much Shampoo?

shampooYou know what people say: Everything when done in excess is bad (or something like that) that remains true at the time we go to shampoo our hair. Do you really know how much shampoo you need to clean your hair properly? Well, that’s certainly something we don’t learn at school!

Using too much shampoo will not get your hair cleaner. In fact, it has its downsides. You can either end up with your hair behaving differently form expected or you can strip it away completely form its essential oils.

How to avoid that? How much is enough? Well, there’s a simple rule: If you have somewhat long hair, put an amount on your hand equivalent to a quarter of your palm. And if you have short hair, make it an octave of your palm. From that starting point you can either add A LITTLE until you find the perfect amount. But most cases it isn’t needed.

I know it’s something most men don’t think about. But once you internalize it, you won’t need to think about it anymore, and rest assured you are using the right amount of shampoo.
