Learn How to Spike Your Hair

spikey hairTrying to spike spike your hair but can’y get ti good enough? Spiking your hair is a relatively easy hair style for men, and useful when you have wild hair that just don’t stay the way you want it. Besides it gives you a nice rocker look. We will show you how to get your hair spikey in just simple steps.

But first a note: This spikey hair style is “normal sipkey hair” for short hair. For long hair to stay up and hard, you need another method. Ok, let’s proceed:

  1. Clean and condition your hair. Every hair style should begin with clean hair. Remember to let the conditioner on the hair for a couple of minutes or so and always use products made for you type of hair.
  2. Dry your hair. First pat it dry with a towel and then let it dry naturally or use a hair dryer to leave it dry. In both cases never rub your hair with the towel.
  3. Brush your hair in the same direction as the way it has grown.
  4. It’s time to style. Choose a styling product that match your hair type. For thin hair, try hair spray or hair clay or putty. And run it through your hair without abousing. For normal hair the same can apply, but for thick hair you’ll need extra strength that gives that extra hold. You can also help the hair stay put by using the hair dryer at high heat.

Wathc out for the amount of styling product you use. Using too much can ruin your style. And always keep your hair cleaned before going to bed.

Men Visiting Hair Salons

Nowadays is very common for a man to visit a salon to take care of his hair.  What years before was an uncomfortable situation for men has become a normal thing to do.  Relaxation is the key.

If you are visiting the hair salon for the first time, just relax.  Get out of your mind any pre-conceived ideas you might have, and prepare for a new experience.  It’s not about only a hair cut, you can even get you hair professionally washed and scalp-massaged for better blood circulation and hair health.

Once you feel comfortable is easier.  Maybe you’ll find that the first time you don’t like the service very much.  Visit other salons, make friends with the hair stylist.  It really pays off in the end.
