Learn How to Spike Your Hair

spikey hairTrying to spike spike your hair but can’y get ti good enough? Spiking your hair is a relatively easy hair style for men, and useful when you have wild hair that just don’t stay the way you want it. Besides it gives you a nice rocker look. We will show you how to get your hair spikey in just simple steps.

But first a note: This spikey hair style is “normal sipkey hair” for short hair. For long hair to stay up and hard, you need another method. Ok, let’s proceed:

  1. Clean and condition your hair. Every hair style should begin with clean hair. Remember to let the conditioner on the hair for a couple of minutes or so and always use products made for you type of hair.
  2. Dry your hair. First pat it dry with a towel and then let it dry naturally or use a hair dryer to leave it dry. In both cases never rub your hair with the towel.
  3. Brush your hair in the same direction as the way it has grown.
  4. It’s time to style. Choose a styling product that match your hair type. For thin hair, try hair spray or hair clay or putty. And run it through your hair without abousing. For normal hair the same can apply, but for thick hair you’ll need extra strength that gives that extra hold. You can also help the hair stay put by using the hair dryer at high heat.

Wathc out for the amount of styling product you use. Using too much can ruin your style. And always keep your hair cleaned before going to bed.

Bald men do it better…saving that is

bald manSurprising new research from Abbey Savings finds that balding British males aged over 50 are more likely to be saving up enough money for their retirement than their follicly fertile friends.

Looking at British males over 50, the figures show that:

43 percent more men that are saving up enough money for their retirement have lost all their hair - compared to those who aren’t saving up enough.

34 per cent more over 50 males that aren’t saving up enough money for their retirement have managed to keep all their hair - than those that are saving up enough.

So does this indicate that savings have become a way for older men to compensate for their lack of hair? Or does it show that men who pay more attention to their finances are more likely to be worriers – and are therefore fretting their hair away?

Most likely, it’s none of these and is it just one of those curious yet unexplainable facts!

Reza Attar-Zadeh, Abbey’’s Head of Savings, said: “Abbey offers an excellent range of savings accounts to cater for all needs. For those over 50, our 50+ Saver account offers an excellent, straightforward savings account with an attractive rate, instant access and availability via phone, internet, ATM or post.”
